Business Terms
Additional terms for businesses that use Tagura to sell.
Effective [Effective date]
Scope
These Business Terms apply to any business or person who creates an ordering page on Tagura (“you”). They add to the Terms of Service. If they conflict, these Business Terms control for your use as a business.
Your responsibilities
You are the seller of record. You are responsible for your products and services, their descriptions, prices, quality, safety, allergen and ingredient information, licenses and permits, fulfillment, customer service, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks caused by your business, and collecting and remitting any taxes. Tagura’s tax settings are tools, not tax advice.
You will keep your account information accurate, keep sign-in details secure, and make sure your team members follow these terms. You are responsible for what your team does in your account.
Payments through Stripe
Payment processing services for businesses on Tagura are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (together, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these Business Terms or continuing to operate as a business on Tagura, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as Stripe may modify it from time to time. As a condition of Tagura enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Tagura accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Tagura to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
Payments are made directly to your Stripe account. Stripe charges its own processing fees. Tagura does not hold your funds.
Tagura fees and plans
Plans, prices and the Tagura fee on card payments are shown on the pricing page and in your settings. The Tagura fee is collected by Stripe from each card payment as an application fee; tips are never charged the Tagura fee. When a payment is refunded, the corresponding Tagura fee is refunded too.
Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails, paid features stay on for a 7-day grace period and then your account moves to the Free plan. Your orders are never locked. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before increasing the price of your plan.
Add-on services used through Tagura, such as on-demand delivery, are billed at the rate shown when you book them.
Customer data
Your customers’ information belongs to your business. You decide how to use it and you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for honoring your customers’ privacy rights. Tagura processes it on your behalf to provide the Service, keeps it confidential, protects it with reasonable security, uses sub-processors bound by written obligations, and helps you respond to requests. You may export your data at any time.
Only send marketing to customers who agreed to receive it, and follow anti-spam and telemarketing laws (including CAN-SPAM and the TCPA).
Text messages
If you turn on customer text updates, messages are sent only to customers who opt in at checkout, only about their orders, and only outside the quiet hours you set. Opt-outs are honored across Tagura. Do not use Tagura to send marketing texts unless and until Tagura offers a compliant marketing feature.
Done-for-you setup and support access
You can buy a one-time setup service, in which our team sets up your account for you. It is paid once when you book it. If you allow it, our staff may open your account with manager permissions, which do not include payouts, billing or your team, for up to 14 days. The access ends when the setup is marked done, and you can remove it earlier at any time in Settings → Team. We keep a log of the changes our staff make. You remain responsible for checking your prices, taxes, hours and other settings before taking orders.
Connected accounts
You can connect accounts you control at other services, such as calendars, Google Business Profile, Instagram, Facebook Pages, WhatsApp Business, email inboxes, accounting and marketing tools. By connecting one, you authorize Tagura to access it only as needed for the features you turn on, and you confirm you are allowed to connect it. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, and you can also remove Tagura’s access from the other service.
Those services have their own terms and policies, which you must follow, including Meta’s and WhatsApp’s business messaging policies and rules about when you may message customers. Charges from those services, such as WhatsApp per-message fees billed by Meta to your WhatsApp account, are yours. Tagura does not post or message on your behalf except when you send a reply or turn on a feature that does so.
Apparel Studio and wholesale suppliers
Apparel Studio is a paid add-on billed with your subscription. When you connect a wholesale supplier account (such as S&S Activewear or SanMar), Tagura uses it only to show you that supplier’s items, your prices and stock, and to send the blank orders you place. Orders you place go on your own supplier account, under that supplier’s terms, and the supplier bills you directly. Supplier prices, stock and photos come from the supplier and can change or be wrong; check orders before placing them, and Tagura is not responsible for a supplier’s errors, delays or charges.
You set what customers pay. You must follow your suppliers’ rules, including not selling items they keep off consumer websites and respecting minimum advertised prices; Tagura applies those rules where suppliers provide them, but compliance is yours. You are responsible for reviewing customer artwork before printing and for refusing designs you are not allowed to reproduce.
Prohibited businesses
You may not use Tagura for illegal goods or services; anything prohibited by the Stripe Services Agreement or Stripe’s restricted businesses list; weapons, ammunition or explosives; drugs, drug paraphernalia, or cannabis products where not permitted; adult content or services; gambling; counterfeit or infringing goods; or anything deceptive, harmful or hateful. We may suspend pages that put customers at risk.
Your content and our license
You give Tagura a license to host and display your business name, logo, photos and catalog to provide the Service, including on your ordering page, in order emails and, if you opt in, in the Tagura directory. You may remove your listing at any time.
Suspension and closing
You can close your business at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, create risk or legal exposure for customers or Tagura, or if Stripe stops supporting your account. Where reasonable we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue and to export your data.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Tagura against third-party claims arising from your products and services, your content, your use of customer data, or your breach of these terms or the law.
